Kitchen tiling in Nottingham
A kitchen splashback is a small job full of obstacles: sockets, switches, an extractor, and a worktop that is never quite level.
Sockets and switches are the tell. The cut has to be straight and it has to sit far enough back that the faceplate covers it, which means measuring off the finished tile rather than the wall.
Worktops are rarely level along their whole length, so the first course gets set out to the eye rather than to a tape.
Nigel was quick to respond to my tiling request and completed the job within few days of my initial call.
